Exchange and Collaboration

In order to increase the global awareness of students and faculty members, GXMUCS places great emphasis on international exchange and collaboration. The college has established academic exchanges with various schools and institutions around the world including USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Vietnam, Taiwan and Hong Kong, etc. Nearly every year, we create opportunities for our faculty and staff to have training and conducting research programs in these regions. Our students are also sent to the United States and Taiwan for exchange and study every year to gradually realize our development orientation of internationalized dental education. 

 

In 2003, GXMUCS established sister school with Kaohsiung Medical University College of Dental Medicine (Taiwan)

In 2014, students of GXMUCS visited Kaohsiung Medical University (Taiwan) 

In December 2009, GXMUCS established sister school with Chung Shan Medical University College of Dentistry

In September 2011, Prof. Zhou Nuo led a group of professors conducting academic researches in Chung Shan Medical University College of Dentistry

In December 2012, students of Chung Shan Medical University College of Dentistry visited GXMUCS. 

In August 2011, Prof. Zhou Nuo and GXMUCS delegation visiting Temple University

Outstanding undergraduate students were selected to visit Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry

On November 11th, 2013, GXMUCS establishing sister school with National Autonomous University of Mexico School of Dentistry

On September 26th, 2013, GXMUCS establishing sister school with Faculty of Dentistry, Medical Center of Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, the Netherlands 

China—ASEAN Forum on Dentistry

Since 2008, GXMUCS started to hold China-ASEAN Forum on Dentistry biennially, which is one of the 15 ministerial forums of the China-ASEAN Expo and serves as a platform for China and ASEAN countries to conduct cooperation on dentistry research, medical education and academic exchanges. So far, more than 1000 high-rofile officials and scholars, including Ministers of Health, presidents of dental associations and senior officials in dental field from China and abroad have been in attendance. This forum has become one of the most influential meetings in this region.
