Dear faculty staff members, students, alumni friends,

As  the year 2018 is approaching, on behalf of Guangxi Medical University  College of Stomatology (GXMUCS), I would like to extend our seasonal  greetings best wishes to all of you!

In retrospection, GXMUCS has observed a year of reform marked by remarkable achievements. Deepening dental education reform. We have been authorized as the National Standardized Training Base for Dental Residents. Enhancing exchange cooperation. We  have reached preliminary consensus with Temple University Kornberg  School of Dentistry in building “Guangxi Medical University ASEAN  International College of Stomatology-Temple University Kornberg School  of Dentistry Advanced Dental Education Center”. In addition, we have  entered into partnership with Taipei Medical University College of Oral  Medicine. Pursuing academic excellence. Being the vice president unit of “Chinese Universities-Enterprises Oral Stem Cell Alliance”  Guangxi Center of National Clinical Research Center for Oral  Diseases, we have established scientific research platforms including  Academician Research Workstation, won 4 scientific research projects  funded by National Science Foundation of China, ranked the 13^th among China’s top 100 dental hospitals in terms of scientific technological influence. Improving dental care service. With  increasingly improved medical quality over 300,000 out-patients  yearly, we have been rated as one of the "Best Specialized Hospitals” in  China for four consecutive years, being the only one winning such honor  in Guangxi. Promoting construction of China-ASEAN International College of Stomatology. The  construction of our new campus is constantly promoted, laying a solid  foundation for realizing our goal of becoming a world-class dental  school with regional advantages.

In  prospect, I foresee opportunities challenges that GXMUCS is to  embrace. The year 2018 is a year for us to make additional progress on  top of our past achievements. We shall continue to make more efforts to  promote dental education, pursue academic excellence, push forward  reform innovation.
