There is no way to escape the fact that the life of a dental student is loaded with class lectures, tons of clinical work, labs, assignments, exams and years of studying. However, student life in the GXMUCS is also about getting involved in campus life with a wide variety of activities, such as volunteering activities, fun competitions, etc., in which students can embark on new experiences and grow up faster and better. A vast range of cultural, educational, athletic social activities are available to the students, faculty staff at the GXMUCS. All of us in campus life strive to create a humane collaborative environment that welcomes hospitable to everyone who lives, works, studies at the college. Campus activities are built around the concepts of encouraging each community member to express his or her talents, promoting soundness of mind, body spirit, facilitating individual growth, balancing freedom with responsibility accountability, advancing the pursuit of excellence.
There are various student-organized associations and a range of student activities running year-round, which satisfy the different demands of local as well as international students. Through these activities, students cultivate their interpersonal friendship, creativity and leadership.
Every year, numerous specially designed festivals activities are held in the college, including some annual activities, such as New Year’s Symphony Concert, “Love-Teeth Cup” Piano Competition, College Cultural Festival, etc. Students can not only receive systemic education, but also experience a balanced life consisting of a vibrant array of student organizations activities, leadership development opportunities, international programs and athletic competitions.
